Before the first use, it is necessary to carefully wash the inside and outside of the pan in hot, soapy water.
Use some kitchen paper or a soft cloth to grease the whole surface with a little oil.
HOW TO PROTECT THE NON-STICK SURFACE
Only use wooden, silicone or nylon utensils.
Never burn fatty foods.
Do not overheat an empty pan.
Oil the pan from time to time.
Washable by hand and dishwasher safe
Never use sponge scourers.
Can I use sharp utensils inside aluminium items?
No. To preserve the performance of the non-stick coating, the use of wood or plastic utensils is recommended.
What can I do if my aluminium pan is stained?
For stubborn stains, it may be useful to boil (over a low flame), 1 spoonful of bleach in 1/4 litre of water for 15-20 minutes, then to wash, rinse and dry the pan and finally, to grease it lightly.
Is aluminium cookware dishwasher safe?
Yes. Non-stick aluminium cookware is completely dishwasher safe. However, we do advise not using aggressive detergents and to grease the pan after frequent washes.
Is my non-stick aluminium cookware oven safe?
Not always. The only non-stick aluminium pan that is oven safe is the frying pan and in any case, always see the instructions on the packaging of each product.
Can I use my aluminium cookware on an induction cook top?
Yes. All non-stick aluminium cookware in the Artusi 2.0 collection can be used on induction.
Why doesn’t my Wok work on induction?
The non-stick aluminium Wok has a bottom diameter of 140 mm and it should be placed on an induction top of this size.
Are non-stick aluminium items nickel free?
Yes. All TVS coatings are free from nickel, heavy metals and PFOA.
